Imagine a wound that just won't go away. You have put antibiotic ointment on it and carefully cover it hoping one day when you remove the the bandage, it will be gone- just gone. Hopefully there won't be any scar and you can go on with your life without having to think of this wound ever again. The truth is that it didn't have a big impact on your life so no worries, it's gone - for good.

But that isn't what happens. Instead, we peak under the bandage and it has started to turn a bit red around the edges. That's no biggie, we just put some more ointment on it and check on it in a day or so. This time it is bright red, sore and warm to the touch. It has begun to ooze fluid.

So what does the average red blooded American do? You got it!

Wash out the aflicting germs, put on some more ointment and cover the unsightly thing up again with a new bright bandage. Throw back a few pain killers and forget it is there. This works with small wounds, but what about when it is a big one?

It starts to hurt LIKE HELL! Now it has our attention. After taking off of the sticky bandage and seeing unmentionables we will call YUCK we decide to call the doctor. The doctor can't see you for 2 weeks. You make the appointment but decide something needs to be done, and fast. After spending a week or more of trying to get rid of this thing by covering it up, it suddenly occurs to you- it needs to be aired out. Everyone will see it, but it needs air. There is no other option anymore, the wound needs to be uncovered so it can begin to heal. It's going to be ugly.

"Never lose sight of the fact that the most important yardstick of your success will be how you treat other

people- your family, friends, and coworkers, and even strangers you meet along the way." Barbara Bush

THIS is the current state of the world. People often like to put things in the context of good or bad. Some might even call it divine or evil. I suggest things are not quite that simple. Was the bacteria that infected your wound evil? Did it have the will to ruin your day? Your week? No, it didn't- but it was quite destructive anyway wasn't it?

The metaphysical reason for an open festering wound is exactly that- a wound that won't heal. It is true for humans. It is also true for all humanity. What are the reasons an emotional or phsychological wound won't heal? Besides the fact that we often don't want to stop our way of life to deal with it, the first few that come to mind are, guilt, anger, resentment and fear. If we look at the issue plaguing our country right now, most can be attributed to one of these.

The reason for the Trump presidency is to force averyone in the world to pay attention to these ailments. I don't mean this in an ambiguous way. I mean we literally need to look at every single voice and understand which of these very real and very human (animalian) emotions are causing these conflicts to not get resolved. Trump is simply the bacteria that is trying to survive in the wound by way of consumption. If you listen to him, he practically says it.

''America first, America first.''

Translation: There are not enough resources to go around. I had better grab them before I/we are starved out = FEAR

"I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will have Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words."

Translation: I am (therefore the Amercian people are) victims.

I take no responsibility. There are others who are coming to get me. I have to protect myself. = FEAR & ANGER

"Although we have a representative in Congress who they say was here a long time ago. They call her 'Pocahontas.' But you know what, I like you, because you are special. You are special people. You are really incredible people."

Translation: I don't understand your culture and I can't fully respect it. That is why I reduce a collegue's entire culture to a Disney movie representation. I distance myself from your history so that I can justify their slaughter. You must be different form others like you so I can justify what my culture did to yours in the past. =GUILT

"I think they're trouble. I think they're looking for trouble," (Regarding Black Lives Matter)

Translation: They are coming to get us. Why wouldn't they? Look what our ancestors did to them. If it were me, I would be out to get us. = FEAR

Regarding race in this country and the world, there are populations of people all over that must have generations of resentment built up. That is what happens whenever somemone is in a relationship with another who has the majority of control and doesn't allow that someone to reach their fullest potential. This story repeats itself over and over again.

What we are experiencing right now is a purging of these conflicts and emotions in the world. The bandage has been ripped off. Our pain is open for eveyone to see. It has to be drained and tended to. On some level Trump knows this even with all his flaws, he knows there is a purpose for his existence and being The President. It is to 'Drain the swamp.' even if it doesn't manifest in the way he intends it to.

Once every possible conflict in humanity has risen to the surface, the swampy wound can begin to heal. It won't be fun. No, not at all. It won't be fun, but our times of buring our history under bandages and downing pain killers to silent the pain, anger and fear are over. Believe it or not, it is not the end of the world. Believe me when I say it is leading to new a beginning full of empahy, compassion, shared knowledge and wealth, as well as a greater understand of where humans stand in this universe. True and permanent peace is only attainainable with through the constant asessment of threat and response, but in the future we will be able to maintain this more equally. Our future holds magnificent things I have seen that cannot come to fruition until we deal with our baggage. We are being prepped for the next stage of evolution. I have had many visions about this, but alas, that is for another time.

If you are still inclined to describe what I layed down as evil, then so be it. In the interum, consider that the bible would certainly be a bland story of nothing happening and no lessons learned without the presence of a force opposing "good". As much as we would like for humanity to dwell in ever lasting peace for all eternity, unfortunately, destruction is where the story begins. In nature, this will always be true.

I pray for the world to learn it's lessons and move on quickly,
